Altice Labs at Madeira’s Digital Transformation Summit

Digital Transformation, in its different aspects, was the central theme of the Digital Transformation Summit, which took place in Madeira Island between the 25^th and the 27^th of October.

The summit brought together renowned personalities from the European Commission, Government, Academia and Industry in a lively debate concerning a vision centered on the human being in a digital society. Needs, expectations, developments, and innovative solutions were discussed with the goal of digitally empowering citizens and companies.

Filipe Cabral Pinto, from Altice Labs‘ Innovation Strategy and Digital department, participated in the panel „Staying Ahead in the Digital Age“, where the challenges related to digital skills, fundamental to digital transformation, were addressed, and which require an increasingly closer interaction between universities and companies, in building a new society.

The Digital Transformation Summit was organized by the Institute for the Development of New Technologies, UNINOVA, in partnership with the Regional Government.
